Identification and Registration Marking
1. 45.11(a) – type or production engines shall be marked by a fireproof identification plate. Note: experimental engines do not need these plates;
2. 45.11 (b) – type or production propeller, propellers, or propeller hubs shall be marked by a fireproof identification plate. Note: experimental propeller(s) and propeller hubs do not need these plates
