The Dyke Delta, named an EAA Outstanding Design in 1963, is one of the first 4-place homebuilts on the market with a unique seating configuration having the pilot seated in front of 3 passengers. It has retractable landing gear and folding wings. Cruise speed averages around 170 mph with a standard 180 hp Lycoming, although a few other engine types have been used.

Designer, John Dyke, has received many awards for his design and contributions to the homebuilt aircraft movement.
